Cooking Made Easy with a Christmas Twist

Two-day Weekend Cookery Course November 11th & 12th

Spend a relaxing couple of days at Delphi Lodge, in the very pleasant company of Award-winning Guest Chef, Michelle Cassidy, of The Bake Well Outlet.
Michelle loves to include old-fashioned baked goods in her courses and her philosophy is “keep it tasty, simple and stress-free”.

b70_1432In her Christmas-themed, easy-to-prepare-and-serve, cookery demonstrations Michelle will show you how to entertain your guests in effortless style. In the evening, you’ll dine together around the famous Delphi Lodge antique table to sample the day’s creations, with a nice few extras laid on.

A highly recommended weekend for individuals, corporate businesses, or small groups (think alternative Christmas party!) wishing to learn the tricks of the trade in a relaxed atmosphere whilst having a bit of fun and enjoying great company with the added bonus of relishing the ambience of Delphi Lodge each evening.

Arrive Delphi Lodge Friday 11th November between 7pm and 8pm for a “meet & greet” canapé reception with Michelle.

Saturday 12th

10.00 after breakfast:
Smoked salmon, chive and mature white cheddar quiche plus a vegetarian quiche option.
Winter salad with seasonal fruits and a balsamic lime vinaigrette dressing.

11.35 after a 15-minute tea break:
Granny’s Famous Christmas Pudding
Strawberry Cointreau gateau.

14.00 after tasty lunch:
Dublin bay prawn cocktail with Marie Rose Sauce.
Cranberry sauce.
Sausage stuffing.
Easy-slice turkey log.

Sunday 13th

10.00 after breakfast:
Two varieties of scone derived from a base mix.
Brown bread.
Apple and cinnamon pie.
Garlic potatoes.

11.35 after a 15-minute tea break (with scones & tea of course):
Chicken, mushroom and leek filo parcels.
Honey roast veg.
Garlic & lemon roast baby boiled potatoes.

14.00:     Hearty “Send-off” Lunch to finish.
Cookery demonstrations over one-and-a-half days
(all recipes will be documented and given at the end of the demonstration).
Canapés on arrival.
