Food & Dining Experience

The food at Delphi Lodge Hotel is highly praised, with delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners that make full use of local seafood, salmon, lamb, game and other fresh produce from the area. Evening Dinner at Delphi Lodge is highly recommended.

It’s a very special experience, with guests gathering in our Drawing Room from 7pm where pre-dinner drinks and canapés are served in front of a cosy log fire. Then it’s into the Dining Room at 8pm for a wonderful six course meal, specially designed and prepared using the best quality, fresh and locally sourced ingredients.

Guests are seated together around our large antique dining table to exchange anecdotes about the day in the wonderful Delphi Lodge atmosphere, with coffee and chocolates later in the Drawing Room; log fires and good company – a perfect evening.

And there’s a great wine list, featuring over 200 fairly-priced wines. We are also offering great vegan, pescetarian and vegetarian dishes.

Best Places to eat in ConnemaraCONNEMARA’S CLASSY CUISINE
“The ultimate food experience has to be at Delphi Lodge in Co Mayo. Guests are encouraged to think of the Lodge more as a country houseparty than a hotel. It features a cosy library with a roaring fire, fishing on the lake or river, and one big dining table where all guests sit down to eat together.”

Five Best Irish Country House Hotels “Delphi Lodge – In the 1830s the Marquis of Sligo built a sporting retreat in a beautiful location at the foot of Connacht’s highest mountains. The resulting Delphi Lodge is now a 13-bedroom retreat where guests enjoy a houseparty atmosphere with gourmet meals served every evening around an old oak dining table.”
