Delphi is delighted to host a food and wine evening on Wednesday the 5th of October. It is an evening to celebrate our excellent Irish beef supplied by Gilligan Meats from Co Roscommon. Padraig Gilligan and his family are old style cattle farmers who practice the very best of animal husbandry.

Their animals are slow-reared the traditional way – grass fed as nature intended and relaxed with classical music, resulting in the very best and most tender of Irish beef. Padraig and his wife Grainne will be our guests for dinner on October the 5th and Padraig will be giving a short speech on all involved in farming cattle to the highest standards.

Of course it is a must, to compliment the best of Irish beef with really good quality red wine and with this in mind, we are delighted to welcome to Delphi Lodge, Victoria Benevides, from The Toro region of Spain. Victoria is an accomplished wine maker and will be showcasing two of her excellent wines made from the Tinta Te Toro Grape.

It promises to be an excellent evening we look forward to welcoming guests for this special get together of premier producers.
